She is currently working on a running book that shares tips on how to start running and keep going for miles.

  1. Hi there Lauren- what a wonderful bio (when many are combining bad things to add to cheeseburgers, you’re combining your super powers for good) I’m going to poke around your blog a bit. And tomorrow I’m going to have my 13-year-old son look at your bio this is exactly where his interests are – he loves writing and ever since he joined the school wrestling team he’s into all things healthy.
    Great blog
new blogger jogging (not really-race walking) around blogworld

    • Hi AnnMarie,
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so happy you stumbled on my blog. I am so happy I get to combine my love for writing and health. My professors in college taught me that finding a topic to specialize in will help you find a job later on and since you care about the topic, it will show through your work (and make what we do not feel like work!). Pass along that advice to your son. I hope he continues to pursue his writing and I wish him all the luck wrestling!
I enjoy what I do so much and it is readers like you who put a smile on my face. I will also check out your blog as well! Good luck on your jogging journey. Remember you can do anything you put your mind to! I look forward to reading about all about it.

      • Thanks very much Lauren,
It’s nearing my bedtime 9pm can you believe that! I remember being in my 20’s and out about town thinking who the hell could ever go to bed before 2 am. I will pass along your sage advice to my son- thank you for that too.
I enjoy writing humorous jots – but I do have about nine big manuscripts in a big metal file that I’m gearing up to rework and I hope to get my artwork all blogged out in the next few weeks –
Here’s to us old and you young-
