First and foremost, Happy New Year to all my readers, fellow bloggers and to whoever stumbles upon this post. I wish you all happiness and HEALTH in 2015.
It seems only fitting that I take a minute to reflect on the amazing year I’ve had. I started training for my first half marathon last winter and little did I know that I would go on to complete not one but TWO halfs. Running has taught me so much about myself and 2014 was really a year for running for me. I finished a few other fun run 5ks and a Spartan Race. All huge accomplishments for me.
I also graduated with my degree in journalism, and after a few months of writing for a health company, I was able to land my dream job as a reporter for the TLounge section of Tech Times (which I sometimes post my articles on here, so thank you all for reading).
I also relocated to a quite area in New Jersey, where I feel like I have settled down. I am blessed to have such love and peace in my life right now.
I also ditched chicken to become a vegetarian (although I occasionally dabble is some fish dishes on occasion.) Thanks to a great Christmas present, I am now juicing and love how healthy and full it makes me feel in the morning.
Although it was a great year, there were also some hard times where my family lost a loved one and of course drama and negative energy that comes with life. I have learned to focus on the positives in life and find healthy outlets like yoga or running to soothe my soul during the lows of life.
Overall, it was a fantastic year and I look forward to 2015.
With that said, I am really would like to refocus my time to this blog and really make it something worth reading. Thank you all for sticking with me. I promise to continue to provide great content including guests posts from amazing writers. (If you would like to write a guest post, you can always email me at email@example.com).
So stay tuned to me health, fitness and nutrition news, and of course my journey as a runner. I plan on releasing an ebook around the springtime, and would love to share some sneak peaks and some chapters here.
Hope you all celebrated your New Years with smiles on your faces. I welcome you all to the New Year and the new start for NyLifeSupply. Happy blogging!
